Just a few short weeks before the 2022 Calgary Stampede, Eau Claire Distillery came calling, in need of a new brand identity for their whisky partnership with The Calgary Stampede. While time was tight, we knew this was a chance to make something legendary.
If you can imagine riding bareback full speed down a dirt path on a wild stallion, that was the pace of this project. Fueled by the same fiery passion that lit up Guy Weadick’s dream of the Calgary Stampede, we crafted a whisky brand that told a story. A story about the power of seizing the moment, celebrating the ride, coming together and tipping our hats to the spirit of the Canadian west.
From a captivating visual identity to dazzling videos and fun promo products, every drop of creativity went into building a brand experience that would get people across Canada and the United States gleefully hollering “Yahoo!”
