“Sometimes I get emotional over fonts” – Kanye Omari West

Many a man favorited that tweet when Kanye posted it, but only one decided to act on it. Here, ladies and gentlemen, is a $50,000 font designed for the one and only Yeezy. Typographer Tyler Finck recently translated the “big, bold, and polarizing” character of the man himself into, well, actual characters. It’s no surprise then that the font, Yeezy Display, was designed to be an uppercase headline typeface with hard-edges, just illegible enough. Everything about Yeezy Display breathes Kanye, right down to the price tag; $50,000, which Tyler Finck says will help pay for his upcoming wedding.
